Beautiful Pre War vintage Washburn style C 5 string conversion  banjo . Original 1920's Washburn (lyon and healy) 10 3/4 pot with all original hardware in good condition with much sought after dobson style C donut tone ring model .original joseph rodgers  skin head , matching  Custom 5 string A Scale neck is 3 piece walnut with maple stringers, walnut peghead overlay  ,and walnut  heel cap. ebony fret board with binding  23 1/2" scale length, Vintage style  peghead , as well as mother of pearl inlays done period  style and pattern. 2 way fully adjustable truss rod (from heel end) allows use of steel strings .new geared tuners, bone nut and raised bone pip ,Slightly wider than standard 1 5/16 at nut and 1 15/16" at heel is comfortable and easy to play low action and  5/8  bridge . set up for claw hammer style. Beautiful sounding banjo finished in laquer to match as close as possible to original , numbers matching dowel stick used for conversion  .sounds as good as it looks, easy to play  A Scale 5 string neck is high quality and ready to play...........sold without case
