1920s gretsch tenor banjo

Description

Here we have a very old tenor banjo. It plays and sounds cool, with a few dead spots in the frets mostly higher up. It will need a repair to the nut as it was fretting out in open. I put a few paper shims in the slots and it fixed it mostly. It is missing one tension rod. The back doesnt squarely fit on anymore, but it does close. Will need a good doing through by a banjo tech, which I am not. Ships in a very cool vintage hardshell case. 2/3 latches work and the locking latch works on the case. it has been taped near the bottom and I dont dare mess with that. Works well as a case still.
