This is a phenomenal example of a Pre War One Piece Flange TB2 which was authenticated by Jim Mills.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description
This is a truly superb example of a One Piece Flange Style 2.  The Style 2 was a deluxe version of the Style 1 because it was not a Mastertone but also had other premium features found on the Mastertone Banjos.  This has a Huber Tone Ring and a Huber Neck.  The banjo is all original except for the Huber Neck and Tone Ring.
This has the original Pre War Shell with a Walnut resonator and all original Pre War nickel hardware.  This includes a Pre War One Piece Flange.  The neck is a mahogany Huber Neck with a Rosewood Fretboard featuring a Flying Eagle inlay.  The banjo has the original Pre War Grover Pancake Tuners which is definitely a nice touch.  The fact this has all original Pre War Parts and the banjo has original finish and is in great shape makes this a truly top quality conversion.  This also includes a hardshell case, the original tenor case, original tenor neck and original Pre War Hoop.
Condition
This banjo is in exceptional condition.  The Pre War hardware has aged and the flange does have some pull but for 100 year old hardware this metal is in great shape.  The finish on the resonator is in phenomenal shape.  The neck and fretboard are in great shape with spikes at the 7th, 8th and 9th frets.  There is some fretwear on the first few frets but the rest of the rest are clean and there is no buzzing because of the light fret wear.  The case and original parts are also in good shape.
Set Up
The banjo has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  This came in with a worn Remo head which I left on there since this is a Pre War.  The head is set to 90.  The bridge is a Sosebee bridge.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the banjo plays great!!!  This is a top quality Style 2 that is set up to sound and play at it’s peak.
