Description
This is a gorgeous Gibson Earl Scruggs Standard that is all original except for a set of Keith D Tuners, the tone ring and thumb screws.  I believe the ring is a Gibson Mystery Ring because it has no markings but I am not sure of that.  This definitely has the Scruggs Power and is cleaned up, set up and ready to go.
This has a maple shell with a curly maple neck and resonator.  The fretboard is ebony with a Hearts and Flowers inlay.  This has all nickel hardware which is all original except for the tone ring and thumb screws.  This banjo is absolutely gorgeous and is one of the most popular models of Gibson Banjos.  This has a Gibson Hardshell Case which I'm not sure when it was made.
Condition
This is absolutely gorgeous.  The metal and finish are clean with a nice shine.  There is a coat of light checking in the finish which looks great because of aging.  The fretboard is in great shape and there is some light fretwear that doesn't effect function at all.  The banjo has minimal wear and has been cleaned and the case is clean also.
Set Up
The head is a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90.  The bridge and strings are both new Huber.  This banjo is rocking and rolling and just needs someone to love it!
