    This is a Stelling Red Fox with upgraded Keith D Tuners and these days Stellings have gotten HARD to find.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

    Description
    Geoff Stelling is regarded as making some of the finest banjos in the history of banjo.  He was inducted into the American Banjo Museum Hall of Fame last year and is retiring from building this year which has caused his banjos to dissapear and explode in value.  The Red Fox is probably the best selling model of Stelling and this is a fantastic example of one with some nice upgrades.
    This has an original Stelling Shell with a Curly Maple neck and resonator.  The fretboard is ebony and features the Red Fox Maple Leaf inlay pattern.  The hardware is nickel and other then the armrest is all original including a Stelling One Piece Ribbon Flange and Stelling no hole Tone ring.  The armrest has some very attractive engraving but is not original.  This also has upgraded Keith D Tuners and an abalone truss rod cover.  The banjo is absolutely stunning and this is definitely what people are looking for out of a Stelling.  This also includes a very clean Superior Hardshell Case.
    Condition
    This is in stunning condition and has been professionally cleaned at the Banjo Warehouse.  All of the hardware has been disassembled and buffed to a shine.  The finish has been waxed and also shines.  The fretboard has been cleaned and oiled and the frets look untouched.  There are spikes at the 7th, 8th and 9th frets.  This is in awesome shape and the case is also super clean.
    Set Up
    This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  This has a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90.  The bridge is a Snuffy Smith and the intonation is set.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and this is set up for fast playing and major tone.  This is not only a high quality banjo but has been set up to maximize performance.
