    This is a gorgeous and Light Weight Prucha Mastertone Banjo.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

    Description
    This banjo has a light weight tone ring that is a design I haven’t seen.  It is not the typical rolled brass tone hoop and it seems that this ring does a better job at producing volume and tone then the traditional hoop banjos did.
    This has a mahogany neck and resonator each with white binding.  The fretboard is a dark rosewood and is radiused with a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern.  The hardware is nickel and all original including this light weight tone ring and a Prucha one piece flange.  The tuners have some very attractive amber buttons and the truss rod cover is abalone.  This really is a beautiful banjo that delivers a lot of sound with a light weight.  The banjo weighs 9 pounds 9 ounces and includes the original head, radiused Prucha bridge and a very nice hardshell case.
    Condition
    This banjo is definitely in great shape and has been professionally cleaned at the Banjo Warehouse.  This has been disassembled and all of the hardware has been buffed to a nice shine.  The wood has been waxed to a shine as well and the fretboard has been cleaned and oiled.  There is some light fret wear on the first few frets but the rest look new.  There are spikes at frets 7, 8 and 9.  The case is definitely clean inside and out.
    Set Up
    This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.  The head is the original Prucha frosted head and is set to 90.  The bridge is the original Prucha radiused bridge and is set with correct intonation.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set well.  This is a phenomenal player that sounds fantastic.
