#47 Mottled green on green colored Jadeite cabochon from Asia (14.60 carats)

Description

ORGIN: Unknown, but best guess is China or southeast ASIA. Cabochon is the Jadeite variety of the two jades.
DYES AND ENHANCEMENTS; Checked out this cabochon with a Chelsea calcite color filter and detected NO dyes were used on or in the stone.

Cabochon description; COLOR;  Mottled green on green  CUT; Free form oval shaped with a low dome.  Good translucency.  POLISH; Satin finish front and the back is NOT polished with NO edge bezel on the bottom edge.  INCLUSIONS; None seen.  Fractures: None seen
