    Description

    This 5-string open back banjo made in Germany by Framus ca. 1975 or later  is in great condition
    It was obviously a custom made instrument for an individual as it is not included in Hans-Peter Wilfers book - Framus Vintage and it has no serial number
    Some features resemble the Framus Old Time Banjo Series
    But maybe someone knows more.
    Features are:
    - laminated, and therefore extremely sturdy neck (broader than any standard banjo neck width)
    - Schaller tuners (2 Keith tuners)
    - Oettinger tailpiece for fine tuning
    - Framus easy to apply action adjustment
    - frets in excellent condition - no wear
    - beautiful inlays on fretboard
    - heavy Gibson-style tone ring
    - 24 brackets
    - Steel flange surround with beautiful ornaments
    One small flaw: small hole  at the height of 9th fret. Can be easily filled with liquid wood
    Comes with a sturdy case
    From my point of view, this instrument is a real collectors gem
