This old banjo rim is an estate find from a banjo luthier's workshop. (NOTE: I am not a banjo expert and will gladly add additional info from those who are.)  I am guessing the wood is maple and it has original rings, one of which is quite worn.  See close up. There are 20 holes around the inside and a few shoe nuts.  The inside measurement is about 9 1/2 inches in diameter and the outside measurement of the rim is about 10 1/8. I do not know the maker or anything about this item.
You are buying this AS IS with NO RETURNS.

NOTE: I received info from two experts saying is pot is most likely a Vega. Also, one of them said the the three sets of flange pieces and pot are  consistent with the vintage Vega tubaphone and maybe the owner was trying to put them together. He also said the flange pieces are hard to find as a whole set. Just passing on info as I get it because I know so little.
