Ludwig Capitol Tenor Banjo

Description

This Ludwig Capitol is full of punch and ready for session playing!  This is not all original and would make a great "players" banjo that looks and sounds great.
Neck - 3 piece American walnut neck with laminated center strip.  New ebony fingerboard and binding with side dots.  New frets.
Rim - Top tension metal rim with double tone projector and tone chamber, American walnut resonator.
Setup - It has a new maple/ebony bridge and nickel strings.  The action is low .080" at the 12th fret and the neck is straight.  The banjo plays great.
Case - older Vega case with missing handle and wear as shown.
Notes - The fingerboard was replaced with a thicker solid ebony fingerboard.  The neck has a lacquer finish that is slightly darker than the resonator.  The tailpiece has an old repair to the hinge and is no longer adjustable at the hinge but can be adjusted for height by the 2 hanger bolts.
