    Description

    May Bell Banjo: Vintage 4 String Fretless Plectrum. 29.5 inches long.  Perhaps this is called a Banjo Ukele.  May Bell Banjos and Banjo Ukeles were built 1920s-1945.  This instrument is Inscribed with the name Jack Bourquin, a US Navy Reserve during World War II. Other inscriptions: "USNR Nov.13, 1944 - Hollywood," unreadable writing, and a faded sketch of Popeye the Sailor.  The banjo is worn out, tired, missing the nut, and needs new strings. However, the Tuning keys are in great shape and have right amount of tension. Give this banjo a home.
