Description
PICTURES: Taken inside under a high intensity lamp. Picture #3 with the lamp behind the stone to show any potential buyers what the inside structure is like. The last picture is the bottom of the stone.ORIGIN: Unknown, but best GUESS is China or southeast ASIA. Cabochon is the Jadeite variety of the two jades.
DYES AND ENHANCEMENTS; Checked out this cabochon carefully with a Chelsea calcite color filter and detected NO dying. Boiled cabochon in distilled water for 2 hours to see if any natural berry dye was used. Water remained clean. Therefore I would have to conclude the stone to be natural and not impregnated with anything to enhance the color.
Dime is for scale only.
