Description
Modeled after the original Mastertone banjos of the 1930's, the Recording King RK-Elite offers players vintage sound and handcrafted construction.  This features professional components like a classic Mastertone-style tone ring and true steam-bent 3-ply maple rim put this banjo in a category by itself.
With classic design features like the vintage-style double-cut Recording King peghead and custom Hearts & Flowers-style inlay, this banjo proudly wears its historic heritage.   This not only plays and sounds wonderful this is a gorgeous and obviously professional quality instrument.  The 27-3/8" scale delivers extra punch, combining traditional sound and looks with modern power.
These Recording King Elite Banjos are no joke and are absolutely professional quality.  I have had people come to the shop to buy a Gibson Banjo and leave with one of these instead.  This is a powerful banjo that is a phenomenal player.

This is Brand New and in New condition.
Set Up
This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.  This has the original head which has been set to 90 on a drum dial.  This also has the original bridge which has been set with correct intonation.  The strings are set with great action, this has all sorts of tone and volume and plays like a dream.
