  • Condition: Unique Rare 6 String English Tunbridgeware Fretless Banjo with 5" Brass section in fingerboard and rare brass nameplate on headstock (see photos). About 35" long with 11" original skin head. Made about 1860 by Robert Wright in Watfford, England (just northwest of London). Good condition for its age. Complete except missing 3 tuning pegs, tailpiece, bridge, 2 bracket hooks, a couple small pieces of inlay. This would be a very easy restoration. This banjo was purchased in the 1980's in person from Mr. Reuben Reubens in London (largest banjo collection in the world at that time). Look at photos carefully, as they are part of the description. A great addition to your collection!
