    We've come into a large cache of jewelry reproduction pieces from the original 1976 King Tut exhibition at the NY Metropolitan Museum of Art. These reproductions were made from molds taken directly from the Tut discoveries! All are in mint condition or near mint!
    This is a pin or pendant piece depicting the head of Hathor, a reproduction taken directly from the original in the Egyptian museum, Cairo. Part of the King Tut exhibit, it depicts Hathor, a deity considered to be the ruler of the sky, the living soul of trees, the nurse of the King of Egypt and the goddess of happiness, dancing and music. Richly gold plated with beautiful detail. Pictures taken with and without flash.  Approximately 1 3/8" x 1 1/8". Signed The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Beautifully plated!
