  • Condition: An estate item. Sometimes I wish the previous owners were available to clear up a mystery like this… but they are not, so I will describe what I see. 23” total length banjo. All of this instrument seems vintage with the exception of the tuning keys which look newer. In good shape with some scuffs and scratches, but none distracting. I see no brand name on the banjo. At least 18 inscriptions on the front as shown, and I have absolutely no idea who these people are or even if they really existed or ever signed this instrument. I do not know how to get in touch with Dog Face Joe, Smilin’ Sam, Shorty or Willie the Weener so I cannot authenticate anything. It does have a great look in person, though. I love my job.
