    This is a 1960’s Kawai Banjo that was never played and still has the original box!!  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

    Description
    This banjo was made in Japan in the 1960’s but was never played and still has the original box stamped Japan.  This is a really cool find simply because this would be truly the same experience as buying one new in the 1960’s would be!
    This has a mahogany neck and resonator.  The hardware is nickel.  This has a rosewood fretboard with dots.  The armrest is wood which looks really nice.  The hardware is nickel and is in great shape.  This has white binding on each side of the resonator and this has the original tailpiece and tuners.  There is a Kawai badge on the headstock and another badge on the resonator that says High Quality Banjo.  This is really a cool package that still includes the box stamped Japan.
    This would be a beginner level banjo but this is a decent instrument.  Take yourself back in time and buy this New in Box 1960’s Kawai Banjo!!
    Condition
    This is new in box.  Everything is super clean.  We oiled the fretboard but everything else is in new condition.
    Set Up
    We professionally set up every Banjo that comes through our shop.  The head has been set to 90 on a drum dial.  The bridge is set with correct intonation.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set nicely.  This is a fantastic collectible that plays great with a good sound.
