    Three String
    Minstral Banjo
    In The Style of:
    W. E, Boucher, Jr.
    (Circa: 1850s)
This instrument  Could Have Imperfections as it is a Used Vintage Custom Historical Build
Three String Minstrel Banjo Made in the Style of William Esperance Boucher, Jr. (circa 1850s).
The Banjo Has a 10" Birch Or Maple  Slotted Head Piece,
With a Eight Tension Nuts On The Heads Metal Tone Ring
This Banjo is an Early Style of Three-String Minstrel Type Banjo.
Which Has Three Twisted Copper/Steel Wires As Display Only Strings On It Now.
This Banjo has been hanging in a family members home for decades unused
The fret-less neck of the banjo is 33.5" total length,
made of cherry or rosewood, and is one piece through the slotted head piece.
There are three chrome tuning key string pegs at the neck top,
Along with this custom mistral banjo is a bag of extras
vintage antique custom hand made banjo parts that compliment this
banjo as the unique vintage antique custom instrument that it is.
My extended family has had this instrument for years as it is now, stored or as a wall display.
I'm told it was originally owned by an uncle that made a living tying flies for fishing
in winter months and traveled summers playing and enjoying
folk and bluegrass festivals traveling from his home in Maine to Florida
until the early 1990s when age caught up with him.
This is his last instrument of his collection the rest deemed fancier thus more valuable,
WE HOPE YOU LIKE IT AND WILL GIVE IT A NEW HOME AND ENJOY
IT FOR IT IS TIME TO PASS IT ON TO THE NEXT GENERATION OF ENTHUSIASTS
