    Description

    I've been informed by someone in the know that this is a "Regal" brand banjo from Chicago. I'm not a musician so I won't be able to tell you how well this sounds. I can only attest to its current cosmetic CONDITION which is GOOD with normal wear and no major issues. It is missing one string. This 9 pound, 35" long, 4-stringed instrument has 23 ornate tuning screw mounts and screws, all still here. The tailpiece is marked "Grover Patent, Presto, Ideal." Each of the four tuners are marked "Grover". I took the back off the banjo and the underside of the 11" head is stamped "Jos. B. Rogers" and "Union Brand

    ". There are no other manufacturer markings on the banjo but, as I said, I've been told it was made by "Regal" of Chicago. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions regarding this.
