VINTAGE BACON BANJO 13999 NO. 1 FOR PARTS REFURBISHING DAMAGED SOLD AS IS

I do not have any professional knowledge of vintage musical instruments, especially this banjo.
I am offering a vintage, pre-owned, used, damaged, Banjo
in poor / rough condition, for parts and/or refurbishing
.
It is a 13999 No. 1, Made By The Bacon Banjo Co. Inc., Groton, Connecticut U.S.A. Union Brand Warranted as faintly indicated on underside. There are some
pencil signatures on underside.  Signatures are not all entirely legible but looks like: Dolly Frances, Jos B. Rogers, Jr. and Tom Peu Poorro????  There may be a few others but writing is so light, not able to read letters.
This banjo has been in my family for decades and was given to my daughter when she was just a toddler.  She also signed the front in ink.
Banjo has a lot of damage ... rust, pitting, broken and/or missing pieces, soil, holes, ink writing, varnish peel, wear, cracks, and more.  Rough condition.
Weighs between 2 and 3 pounds before packaging materials.  Will be shipped in large box, with extra insurance and signature required at delivery.  Shipping may be adjusted (at seller's discretion) depending on total box size, weight, your location, and if I grossly miscalculated.
