Awesome Banjo Uke with Case and Resonator!!
Note the unique holes in the sides of the rim for sound!
I bought this and a fiddle to learn to play, and decided to go with the fiddle and just get my money if I can back out of this unit. Lots of pics to hopefully help.
The head shows some hairline splits in the veneer on top. This is just veneer with some normal cracks in veneer. It is not structural. Note the picture of the back of the head to show it is solid.
Note the holes around the wooden rim to let the sound out. Very Nice.
Has a case that is a tight fit, what appears to be the original key for the head bolts, and a special tuner with a hole in it for the top string. I am not sure what the real purpose is on that other than to help with slippage. Case shows normal wear for a unit of this age.
I couldn't find any markings as to the maker on the unit, and the star appears to have some stain smeared on it like someone in the past may have refinished it. Note the piece of trim missing off the top of the neck by the rim. Just a small piece, but want to note all I can.
