    Description

    Top-of-the-Line Orpheum Tenor. The #3 Special is the blond Maple model,
    while the regular #3 was Mahogany.
    Short-scale.
    This one is clean and original.
    These banjos came originally fitted with Gold-Plated Grover Friction pegs... this banjo has been up-graded to Gold Modern German Planetary Pegs.
    Either by accident or by design, the dowel-stick is inverted.
    Neck is pretty straight and action is Medium.
    Serviceable original hard case.
