This is a Vintage Japanese Orpheum 5 string Banjo.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description
This is a fine example of a Vintage Japanese Banjo Made by Orpheum.
This has a mahogany neck and resonator with chrome hardware.  The flange is a tube and plate and the tone ring is a Tubaphone style ring.  This banjo is definitely interesting and also features Vega style inlay.  The fretboard is rosewood and clean and there is white binding on the neck and resonator.  This is a super cool, clean and all original Vintage Japanese Banjo that is also rare.  Includes Hardshell Case.
Condition
This is in superb condition and has also been professionally cleaned at the Banjo Warehouse.  The banjo has been disassembled and all of the metal has been buffed and glows.  The metal looks new.  The wood has been waxed and the fretboard cleaned and oiled.  The frets are in good shape and this has no spikes or 5th string capo and never has had either.  This is in really, really good shape and the case is also clean.
Set Up
This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  This has a new Remo frosted head which has been set to 90.  The bridge is a Grover and the intonation is set. The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the Banjo plays GREAT!!!  This is a really interesting, clean and well set up banjo.
