  • Condition: Very good condition. I see no evidence of de-lamination. All inlays are intact. No apparent damage except for some small dings/dents on the neck and head stock. There is a small groove in the front panel to the left of the sound hole and there is a small crack in the fret board running parallel with the second pair of strings from the left. Neither issue is apparent except under close examination. Overall very sound construction inside and outside from what I can see.

    Description

This instrument was inherited from my grandfather. I assume it to be 1920's era.  Fret board appears to be ebony. Original label inside of sound hole is intact.  An apparent serial number is stamped inside, 14334. Includes the felt lined case shown in the photos. Case is in fair to good condition. I play guitar, but cannot play mandolin, so I want to sell it to someone that can play it and appreciate it, rather than let it continue to be stored unappreciated. I researched online, but could not determine the manufacturer. My price was influenced by activity on EBAY and Reverb and a verbal appraisal.
